THE CORE TRAINING AS THE RESULT OF THE BRAIN

                               TRAINING

The importance of the proper core muscles functioning for any sport actions and the healthy life is well known all over the world. The advanced teams in soccer, football, hockey, basketball, and baseball together with the athletes of tract and field, swimmers, skiers, skaters, golfers pay significant attention to the core muscle training. All fitness trainers in all fitness clubs start their programs with new clients in developing proper core muscle condition. New systems for training and new exercises for core training are always drew attention of sportsmen and fitness specialists. It shows that the core is very important goal of any training and healthy life.

What is the core?  The core of the human body is grope of the lumbo-pelvic-hip muscles which is comprised of 29 muscles attached to the spine or the pelvis and is positioned in the body’s center of gravity. The importance of the core lays in the origin of any motions. From one side all body’s movements initiate the misbalance in equilibrium which should be compensated by body’s muscles. From another side the core is the gravity center of the body and all movements place forth on the core. It is possible to load relaxed, flexible gravity center of the human body for movement forward, but unfortunately if the core muscles are not contracted, body will not get locomotion like the soft body of uncotioned person. So in order to accept locomotion of the body from any muscles work it is necessary to prepare the core muscles by their contractions, to make center of body gravity rigidly connected to the pelvic, vertebrae and hips, i.e. to the skeletal system. The most important core muscles work is in THE CORE MUSCLES CONTRACTION PRIOR TO ANY OUTER MUSCLES ACTIVITY of the body. The research on muscle activity and body movement shows that THE ACTIVATION OF THE CORE MUSCLES OCCURS FROM 30 to 110 milisecond PRIOR TO ANY OUTER-MUSCLE ACTIVITY.

In the DIRECT ACTION an athlete get a task, his brain makes program of muscle contraction with integration in balance and equilibrium and the core activation just before the main actions will occur.

In the REFLEX ACTION each reflex, starting from the outside disturbances, is sending the signals to the brain for analyze and integration to keep the balance and equilibrium with the help of the vestibular system together with development of the program of muscle contraction. The first of all the signals will rush to THE CORE and a moment later to the proper muscles. It means that in each reflex arc the brain will communicate to the core prior to others muscles. If a person would have 1000 reflex arc per second, it means that the core is activated also 1000 times per second. Such actions will train the core muscles and especially the speed of cells reaction and contraction of the core muscles. In general this would increase the speed of reaction and contraction of any sport actions of the person as the core reaction and contraction is essential part of the general sport action. So the REFLEX ACTIONS have created the unique opportunity to train the core in the direction of increasing the speed of the core muscle reactions.
